Service Overview

Service features

This service is available for round-trip deliveries up to 160 cm in total dimensions (total dimensions of 3 sides) and 30 kg in weight to ski resorts, golf courses and hotels, etc.

The driver will bring delivery forms and collect payment of the delivery charges for the outward and return legs of the delivery when collecting your package for the outward delivery saving you the trouble of filling in the delivery form and making payment for the return delivery.

Available Package Size

This service is available for packages up to 160 cm in total dimensions (total dimensions of 3 sides) and 30 kg in weight.
This service is also available for the delivery of leisure items such as skis, snowboards and golf bags.

Rates

When using the dedicated cover

  • Golf bags will be charged at Size 140 even if they weigh 20 kg or more or their total dimensions (length + width + height) exceed 140 cm, provided the weight does not exceed 30 kg.
    • If the weight exceeds 30 kg, Hikyaku Large Size Express or Hikyaku Large Size Air Express rates will apply.
  • Ski and snowboard equipment will be charged at Size 160 even if they weigh more than 20 kg or their total dimensions (length + width + height), provided the weight does not exceed 30 kg.
    • If the weight exceeds 30 kg, Hikyaku Large Size Express or Hikyaku Large Size Air Express rates will apply.
  • Travel bags and similar items will be charged at Size 140 even if they weight more than 20 kg or their total dimensions (length + width + height) exceeds 140 cm, provided the weight does not exceed 30 kg.
    • If the weight exceeds 30 kg, Hikyaku Large Size Express or Hikyaku Large Size Air Express rates will apply.

If you use packaging such as a cardboard box or case instead of the dedicated cover, the fee will be calculated based on the weight or size of the package.

  • As for golf bags, the same rate applies whether they contain a full or half set.
  • As for skis, one set (including poles) is treated as one shipment. Children’s skis are shipped at the same rate.

An additional relay fee will apply for deliveries to certain remote islands, regardless of whether a dedicated cover is used.

How to Use

1. Apply from Smart Club "For Individuals"

Log in to Smart Club “For Individuals” and apply from the “Hikyaku Round-trip Delivery Reception Service.”

You need to register with (sign up for) Smart Club “For Individuals” to use the Hikyaku Round-trip Service.

2. [Outward] Collecting packages

Our SALES DRIVER® in charge will collect your package at the requested address on the requested date for outward delivery.

  • The driver will bring you delivery forms for the outward and return legs of the delivery.
  • The freight charge is the total of the outward and return legs of Hikyaku Express.

3. [Outward] Delivering packages

Our SALES DRIVER® in charge will deliver your package on the requested date to the requested address.

4. [Return] Collecting packages

Our SALES DRIVER® in charge will collect your package at the requested address on the requested date for return delivery.

  • Please be sure to use the delivery form for the return leg provided at the time of collecting items (outward).

5. [Return] Delivering packages

Our SALES DRIVER® in charge will deliver your package on the requested date to the requested address.

Notes on Use

  • Please be sure to use the dedicated delivery form for the round-trip service when sending items.
  • The valid period for the return leg is 10 days from the day following the day of collecting outward package(s).
  • If you wish to cancel the return delivery, please take the return delivery form to your nearest sales office and we will refund the return portion of the delivery charges. (Refunds on canceled deliveries can only be given within 60 days of the scheduled shipment date of the return leg.)
