Notes on calculating fares

Prices and charges shall be applied as follows in accordance with the number of items specified on the delivery form, the weight and the size.
When using air cargo, single items sent using one delivery form (up to 160 cm in total dimensions of the three sides and weighing up to 30 kg per item), shall be handled as Hikyaku Air Express, and Hikyaku Air Express prices shall apply.

Multi-package shipments (two or more items), items with total dimensions of the three sides more than 160 cm, or items over 30 kg per item and up to 260 cm in total dimensions of the three sides, and which weigh no more than 50 kg per item shall be handled as Hikyaku Large Size Air Express items, and Hikyaku Large Size Air Express charges shall apply.

Definition of services

(1) Two days later delivery [Items shipped from Okinawa only]	Items are delivered two days after pickup
(2) Next day delivery	Items are delivered the day after pickup
(3) Next day morning delivery	Items are delivered in the morning of the day after pickup

However, the above definitions are not applicable to Hikyaku Cool Air Express services.

Prices and charges are added for each item.
Prices and charges are applied in accordance with the size and weight classifications of the parcels and with the region classification.

Size and weight classification are as follows.

140 size is applied to golf equipment (caddie bags) and travel bags (suitcases and overnight bags) weighing more than 20 kg, or with total dimensions of the 3 sides of more than 140 cm. (However, the maximum weight is 30 kg.)
160 size is applied to ski equipment (skis, snowboards) weighing more than 20 kg, or with total dimensions of the 3 sides of more than 160 cm. (However, the maximum weight is 30 kg.)
Chilled items (up to 140 cm in total length, width and height) shall be handled as Hikyaku Cool Air Express.
200 size is applied for the dedicated hanger box.
140 size is applied for the special hanger case.
260 size is applied to long items with total dimensions of more than 260 cm.
Definition of Long Items

“Long items” refers to packages up to a maximum of 600 cm long, with the two shortest dimensions totaling no more than 90 cm, a weight of no more than 30 kg, and total dimensions of three sides of no more than 600 cm.
- Even if the total of three dimensions is up to 600 cm, it is not included in the “Long items” when the sum of the two shortest dimensions is 90 cm or more.
  - Example 1:
    A package with a length of 500 cm, a width of 40 cm, and a height of 60 cm is not a long item because the sum of the width and the height exceeds 90 cm.
  - Example 2:
    A package with a length of 540 cm, a width of 20 cm, and a height of 40 cm is a long item because the sum of the width and the height does not exceed 90 cm.
The following services are available for oversized items not included in the “long items.”
TMS (Charter Service)

The higher of the two prices calculated according to size and weight classifications shall be applied as the package price.

[Packages weighing more than 30 kg]
Packages weighing more than 30 kg up to a maximum of 40 kg shall be handled as 40 kg.
Packages weighing more than 40 kg up to a maximum of 50 kg shall be handled as 50 kg.
(There is a maximum weight of 50 kg.) An additional 2,200 yen is charged per 10 kg (or an additional 2,420 yen per 10 kg for shipments to Okinawa).

We offer a 100-yen discount for each package brought directly to one of our sales branches or offices. This discount is not applicable to packages for payment on delivery.

The following charges are added when a package is handled as Hikyaku Cool Air Express.

A fixed amount will be charged to cover for the cost of any items requiring special care.
Any matters relating to charges and prices not covered under these charging methods shall be agreed upon between the parties or follow commonly accepted practices, within the scope of the law.
