Payment Method/Payment Cycle
Payment Method
Cash, credit card or debit card can be selected as the payment method.
Senders can also designate a specific payment method (cash only/card payment) in advance.
We then contact the recipient before delivery to notify them of the designated payment method.

Payment by card...
Our sales drivers collect payment at the time of delivery using a mobile terminal for card payments. Since all data is deleted immediately after payment is completed, there is no risk of data leakage.
- The signal from the mobile terminal for card payments covers roughly the same service areas used for i-mode (NTT DoCoMo). In some mountainous areas or inside buildings, it may not be possible to pick up a signal and card payment is unavailable. In such cases, it is possible to switch to cash payment.
Credit card
Sales drivers ask purchasers to sign the sales slip issued by the mobile terminal, similar to paying by credit card in a shop.
The following payment methods can be selected: single payment, two-installment payments, revolving payments, multiple-installment payments and bonus time payment.
For multiple-installment payments, the number of installments can be selected from the following: 3, 5, 6, 10, 12, 15, 18, 20 and 24.
- In some cases, only single payment is allowed due to the agreement between the recipient and credit card company.
- Bonus time payment is acceptable for periods between Jan. 1 and Jun. 15 (payment at the time of the summer bonus) and between Aug. 1 and Nov. 15 (payment at the time of the winter bonus).
- Credit card payment cannot be accepted in the following cases:
- When the purchase price exceeds the card’s limit.
- When there is a magnetic strip malfunction on the card.
Debit card
This system allows users to make payments with their own bank cash cards.
Our sales driver hands the recipient a mobile card payment terminal, into which the recipient enters his or her PIN. Payment is immediately withdrawn from the recipient's bank account.
- Payment by debit card is not accepted in the following cases:
- When the bank account balance is insufficient.
- When the purchase price exceeds the card’s limit.
- When the payee’s bank is not a member of the Japan Debit Card Promotion Association.
- When there is a magnetic strip malfunction on the card.
