Sagawa Express is a logistics solutions company.
At Sagawa Express we strive to offer logistics solutions that tackle our customers’ unique challenges, while at the same time continuing to find solutions to environmental and social issues through our transport operations. Together with our customers, we aim to grow and develop into the future.

Sagawa Express Green Solution is the name we have given to the unique solutions we offer and is a manifestation of our resolve.

Environmentally Friendly Vehicles

We are proactively introducing vehicles with low impact on the global environment. Compared to conventional petrol and diesel engines, the exhaust gases from these vehicles contain less air pollutants and greenhouse gases.

Modal Shift

We are driving a modal shift to move away from long-distance cargo transportation using trucks to transport using trains and ships, both of which enable mass transportation and generate low CO2 emissions.

Mixing Freight and Passenger Transport

We are promoting mixing freight and passenger transport in which we use trains and taxis to carry both people and cargo. In addition to contributing to lower CO2 emissions, this business model can create employment opportunities and streamline logistics operations in underpopulated areas.

Service Centers

In using carts and bicycles to provide environmentally friendly pickup and delivery services, we are limiting use of trucks and contributing to major reductions in CO2 emissions.

TRIKE CARGO(power-assist electric tricycles)

We are proactively introducing use of power-assist electric tricycles that can carry 150 kg of cargo, which is approximately four times as much as conventional bicycles and one-third the load capacity of light trucks.

Facility Logistics

Facility logistics helps us to reduce the number of trucks entering and exiting commercial complexes, relieve nearby traffic congestion, and in turn lower environmental impact.

Biodiversity Conservation (Japanese Only)

At Sagawa Express we are engaged in forest protection activities as we aim to coexist alongside society.
