Business Continuity Plan (BCP) and Business Continuity Management (BCM) at Sagawa Express

At Sagawa Express, based on our experiences during the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011, in 2013 we formulated a business continuity plan (BCP). Today, we continue to promote and improve the efficacy of our business continuity management (BCM), such as by promoting BCP-related investments and other measures, holding large-scale disaster drills, and working with local administrations and corporations to ensure business continuity.

Our Role as a Designated Public Corporation

Based on the Basic Act on Disaster Management, the Act on Special Measures for Pandemic Influenza and New Infectious Diseases Preparedness and Response, and the Act concerning the Measures for Protection of the People in Armed Attack Situations, etc., we are engaged in various initiatives as a designated public corporation to ensure stability in the lives of Japanese citizens and the Japanese economy.
