This is a payment-on-delivery service that collects the price of purchased goods on behalf of the sender.
Payment by various credit cards, electronic money or debit cards at the time of delivery is acceptable.
This service is available for senders at low card processing rates, eliminating the hassle of membership registration. |
- Payment Method
| The payment method can be selected from cash, credit card, electronic money and debit card. Senders can also designate a specific payment method (cash only/card payment) in advance. We then contact the recipient before delivery to notify the designated payment method. |

Our sales drivers complete the payment procedure using a mobile terminal for card payment at the time of delivery. Since all data is deleted immediately after the procedure is completed, there is no risk of data leakage.

The radio waves from the mobile terminal for card payment reach almost within the same service areas used for i-mode (NTT DoCoMo). In some mountainous areas or inside buildings, the radio waves may not be caught and card payment is unavailable.
In such a case, the payment method can by changed to cash payment. |

- Credit card
Like when paying by credit card at shops, sales drivers ask purchasers to sign the sales slip issued by the mobile terminal.
Acceptable credit cards
The payment method can be selected from single payment, two-installment payment, revolving payment, several-installment payment and bonus time payment. For several-installment payment, the number of installments can be selected from 3, 5, 6, 10, 12, 15, 18, 20 and 24.

Only single payment may be allowed in some cases due to the agreement between the recipient and credit card company. |

Bonus time payment is acceptable for periods between Jan. 1 and Jun. 15 (to be paid at summer bonus time) and between Aug. 1 and Nov. 15 (to be paid at winter bonus time). |

Credit card payment cannot be accepted in the cases below:
- When the purchase price exceeds the card's credit limit.
- When there is a magnetic error on the card.

- Electronic money (QUICPay)
The payment procedure is completed by just holding a QUICPay card or QUICPay-enabled mobile phone over a card payment terminal. (Signature not needed)

QUICPay payment is available only for delivery within Tokyo's 23 wards and Nagoya City. |

QUICPay payment cannot be accepted in the following cases:
- When the payment amount on delivery exceeds 20,000 yen.
- When the purchase price exceeds the limit of the credit card for which QUICPay is registered.

- Debit Card
This system allows users to make payments with their own bank cash cards. Our sales driver hands the recipient a card payment mobile terminal, into which the recipient enters a password. The payment amount is immediately withdrawn from the recipient's bank account.

Debit Card payment is not acceptable in the following cases:
- When the bank account balance is insufficient.
- When the payment amount exceeds the maximum limit of the system.
- When your bank is not a member of the Japan Debit Card Promotion Association.
- When there is a magnetic error on the card.

| This service is available for packages up to 450 cm in size (total of 3 sides), which can be carried by a single person. |

- Stamp duty payment : Sagawa Express issues receipts for product prices on behalf of senders.
When a stamp duty is required, Sagawa Express pays the taxes on behalf of senders.

When the registration is completed, e-collect delivery forms and stickers for designating payment methods will be provided. |

- This service is not available in some areas.
- We will return the shipment to the sender by Hikyaku Express with payment by recipient in any of the following cases:
- When the item was not received by the designated recipient
- When the designated recipient refuses to pay the price of the shipment
- When there is any error in the price of shipment (amount appearing on receipt), etc.
- When the shipment could not be delivered within 7 days (4 days in the case of Hikyaku Cool Express) after arrival at our sales branch, due to recipient's reason
- When the destination written on the delivery form does not exist
- The maximum compensation for damage is 300,000 yen.
- We cannot handle dangerous items, personal letters, money and securities.
- Natural disasters, traffic jams due to accident, abnormal weather, etc. may cause delay in delivery.
- Packing must be completed by customers.
- Please be sure to notify our staff of any personal information, high-priced items, etc. contained in your package that require special care.
- Please write the names of the items contained and any special remarks in the "Item/Package shape" box of the delivery form.
