Sagawa Express's mailing service includes the following two types, selectable for the convenience of customers.
Both types handle one or more pieces of magazines, catalogues, etc. that do not require receipt stamps, at low prices. The Hikyaku Mail Express service delivers parcels in 3 to 4 days (delivery to some areas may take longer), while the Hikyaku You-Mail Express service delivers them in about 5 days after they are mailed to a post office, both directly to recipients' mailboxes. (According to postal laws and regulations, delivery takes about 3 days longer than regular mail.)
- Hikyaku Mail Express
Sagawa Express delivers magazines, catalogues, etc. up to 70 cm in size (total of 3 sides) and 1 kg in weight.
Our cargo tracking system using bar codes enables customers to track their shipment.
- Hikyaku You-Mail Express
Sagawa Express sends, as the sender, parcels up to 34 cm long, 25 cm wide, 3.5 cm high and 3 kg in weight to a post office, to reduce delivery cost. (Post office mail carriers deliver the parcels.)
Besides magazines and catalogues, recorded media (CDs, DVDs, floppy disks, etc.) are also acceptable.
Although our cargo tracking system is not available for this service, customers can use the post office's up-to-date information on residents' moving/transfer.

This service is available for parcels of the following sizes and shapes that can be put into a mailbox.
- Total of 3 sides = 70 cm or less
- Longest side = 40 cm or less
- Thickness = 2 cm or less
- Weight = 1 kg or less

- To use this service, initial registration is required. To apply, ask your sales driver. We will prepare a "payment by sender" delivery form and Hikyaku Mail labels.
(Registration takes about 1 week.)
- You can use the same address labels that you usually use.
- Please tell your sales driver that you want to use the Hikyaku Mail Express.

- Regular postal mail service may be used for some portions of delivery to some remote islands or areas.
- In any of the following cases, the shipment will be delivered in our special plastic bag.
- When an indication of "Do not bend or fold" appears on the outer package
- When the parcel cannot be put into a mailbox
- When more than half of the parcel sticks out of the mailbox
- When the parcel could get wet from rain
- When the mailbox is totally exposed to rain
- When the recipient does not have a mailbox
- If the destination is not clear or if the name on the nameplate is different from the name on the address label, the shipment will be returned to the sender.
- Our compensation covers the amount of delivery charges, at maximum. We cannot compensate for the items contained.
- We cannot handle letters, cash, checks or any other item that cannot be reissued or reproduced.
- We cannot handle dangerous items, money, securities or any other item that cannot be substituted by others.
- Charges for this service must be paid monthly. We do not accept payment by cash.
- Natural disasters, traffic jams due to accident, abnormal weather, etc. may cause delay in delivery.
- Packing must be completed by customers.
- We cannot accept packages containing any personal information, high-priced items, etc. that require special care.
